Does It Ever End?

It seems like for the past month, everything is either going out in my house, breaking or someone is holding their hand out for me to pay them something.

Now my ice maker went crazy- pooring water all in my freezer and all over my floor- and I love that thing- I love that it turns those fonky cresent shaped cubes into bits of crunchy ice that just goes wonderfly with my unsweet tea. I know, it's only an ice maker but I called the repair man and he said it would be cheaper to go buy a new one than to have it fixed. Great, who knows how much that little jewel will cost.

Now, this morning I look on my handy dandy calendar and notice that my school tuition is due by 3:30 today or my classes will be cancelled. Not to mention that our pool has cost us a fortune in trying to get that booger ready for the kids to swim in. They are so nice to have to keep the kids occupied in the summer, but the upkeep is outrageous!

Then out of the blue this morning, my DH woke me up wanting some money to go buy hedges for the front of the house and mulch to go around the pool. Okay, I love my yard to look pretty, but I really wanted to spend that money on getting someone to come in and wash my baseboards, fans, windows, clean out the fridge, etc. (all those things I can't and haven't done in ages). Ughhhh! It never ends.

So today, another day that I can't just lounge around in my pjs and rest, I have to go to the college and pay that freakin tuition. $500 for ONE class mind you. And it is directed study, I won't even be using their electricity or classroom. I will be doing all the work from home and talking to the professor by email. Does this seem fair? I wonder how much money I have forked out in the last 20 years to this college. I bet I could build a nice home and pay in cash...

Okay, well sittin here writing is not getting my laundry done and my pups fed. So much to do....so little time...
