Happy Thanksgiving Ya'll

Well, Thanksgiving will be over in a little over an hour but I have been studying and looking through the sales papers to see if ther eis anything I want to hurt myself by waking up before a human should in the morning.

We had a really good day. I cooked all last night and most of the early morning. Then loaded up the kids and went to my mom and dad's house. It was the first time I have spent Thanksgiving with them in 3 years as usually we are all hunting at the camp in Arkansas. It was also the first year since I have been married that I didn't spend it with my husband. Long story, but I don't make him go to my parents and he doesn't make me go to his, so we did the on family thing this year, much to my disliking, but if he is going to be uncomfortable and sit there like a bump on a log and be unsociable and make me miserable- I would much rather be there alone and have a good time.

We had a festive lunch and I really enjoyed meeting my sister's coworker and her family. They just moved here from Kansas City and had nowhere to go. Both she and her husband are wheelchair bound but it was amazing to see two people so lively, friendly and thankful to just be alive (they were both injured in separate car wrecks).

Today, I am thankful for many things:
1. First of all, I am thankful to just be alive. The good Lord has given me life and I am so thankful to be able to share my story and to support the much needed journey to finding a cure for breast cancer.

2. I am thankful for my four beautiful children. They have truly been a blessing in my life and have given me reason to be a better person.

3. I am thankful for my husband whom I love very much.

4. I am thankful for my parents, my sisters and their families.

5. I am so thankful for the friendships that God has gven me that have turned out to be truly one of the greatest gifts that one can be given.

6. I am thankful for having a warm place to lay my head, hot food on my table and a place to call home, even if it is chaotic and crazy around here right now.

Happy Thanksgiving to all of you.
