Back, more exhausted as ever!

Well, if you have been wondering where I have been- I've been on vacation in the Big Easy. We left Wednesday and got back Saturday night. We had a good time, visited the Aquarium of the Americas, saw the 3-D Wild Safari at the IMAX Theater, went to the Audubon Zoo (which was AWESOME), toured the French Quarter and the Garden District and also went to the so called Six Flags of New Orleans, which was a total dissappointment.
It was fast and furious and we walked our butts off. The kids got educated a little too much by reading some of the shirts on Decatur street (and I thought I was protecting their innocense by keeping them off of Bourbon...). It was really fun and the kids got to experience some things that they had never done, such as riding a street car, seeing the Cathedral, touring the French Market and Flea Market and eating beignets and cafe' au laits at Cafe DuMonde.
I've been helping my bestest friend, J, move since we've been home and although I am exhausted, I'm sure my tiredness doesn't even touch the physical and mental strain she has been under. One day (and box) at a time girl, one day at a time.
I start back to work tomorrow, for a whole 4 days before I go back for surgery. I would rather be working. Today is the first real day I have done absolutely nothing all summer. I slept late, uploaded and ordered some pics from Shutterfly, and replied to emails and oh yeah, blogged. I am also watching Days of Our Lives and Passions for the first time in months. I usually keep up by the girls daily recaps and on line at SoapCentral.com. Of course, it seems I havent missed much.
Well, not much else going on in my world but getting the kids ready to start back to school. Syd is so excited and ready to go back, but the other two are total opposited- they don't want summer to end... This may be a tough year, first grade, fourth grade and fifth grade and my last year of grad school. Heaven help us.....
