It's Really Bad

When you are so busy that you find out that London has been bombed at 6:00pm when you read your friend's blog. Where have I been and what have I been doing while innocent people have been killed and hurt? I feel like my head has been in the sand. I felt really out of the loop and had to go to cnn.com to get the details.

Do you ever wonder where the day goes? I got up this morning, did my morning chores, put on some laundry and exercised, then went to price stuff for our garage sale. Then I went to the college to final out on that directed study class- aced it! Whew! Then I came home and started supper. Some guy came by to buy our boat and two others came by to start building our kennel. That money literally came into our hands and right out the other. At least my kennel will be built before we go on vacation so we won't have to board Sampson, D'Lyla & Duke. We'll need the room when we start trying to breed.

Two of the kids are going to Six Flags in New Orleans with their grandmother tomorrow. Not sure what to think about that with Hurricane Dennis making its way north. The weather channel says it won't come that way but you never know with those things. I just hope it doesn't hit Gulf Shores again, that is where our family reunion is being held next weekend.

My life is boring right now, not a lot to report. My DH is out fighting the war on drugs, a meth lab this time. He was so excited! Like a kid in a candy store. I like the fact that he loves this job but I still don't like him being gone so much and we were lying on the couch fixin to watch a movie when he got called out. Bummer! I need to be pricing junk but just don't want to go over there this late at night. We are having it at my friend's grandma's house uptown. We have so much stuff that we could have the sale for a month straight and probably still have stuff left over.

Well, I won't bore you any more than I have to. I am beginning to ramble and I'm sure you hear enough of that.

Tonight I will say a special prayer for Tony Blair, London, and all of those affected by the bombings this morning. Why someone would intentionally hurt and kill someone is beyond my comprehension. Why?
