Baby Belle is Coming

My niece, Kelli is being induced this morning.
My poor sister is having a rough time.
Her husband was rushed to the hospital at 4am this morning and can't move due to a ruptured disc pressing on his spine, but they won't do emergency surgery until he is peeing or pooping on himself. Does this make any sense? Why would you wait until a spinal cord compression.

So, she has her daughter in one room, her husband at home drugged and not able to move and a 2 year old grandbaby to figure out what to do with.

Soooo Memaw to the rescue. My mom took the two hour drive to Natchez this morning to be with her. She will probably bring J (the 2 year old) to me this evening. Luckily I can bring him to work with me.

Kelli has dilated only 1cc but having good contractions. Baby Helen(my grandmother's name) Isabella (my great grandmother's name) "Belle" will be here sometime today I hope.

My heart goes out to my sister. She's got a lot on her today. So if you have a second, say a little prayer for her and my niece...while you are at it, go ahead and add my brother-in-law and mother too....

I just hate that Baby Belle won't come into this world seeing her favorite aunt and knowing how much I love her already but I will be spoiling her rotten very, very soon.
