What's the Dill Pickle?

Okay, so we've been on Weight Watchers for a whole week now and did good. Our weigh in was yesterday morning (Monday) and everyone did good. LSUgirl and Vetgirl both lost 5 pounds, DH lost 8 and I had lost 4, but I hated to weigh yesterday morning because I had um intestinal issues if you get my drift, so I decided to weigh again this morning and I had gained the 4 pounds back but had gotten rid of the issues. I don't get it. How could I have gained 4 pounds in one day? I think it is my scales so DH told me to go get some digital ones today, so that I will do. I am also going to weigh at my doc's office- I know those are calibrated and accurate.

The kids got their report cards yesterday and needless to say, 2 out of the 3 kids at home are now grounded. I don't know what the deal is but with the little one, it is like a full time job just helping him with his homework and getting him read for his tests and he still fails them. It's like he knows it before he leaves for school and he walks out the door and the brain sucker just zaps all the knowledge he ever had and when he takes his test, it is like it is in a foreign language or something. God help me. Of course, since I am the teacher, DH thinks they should all have perfect grades and that I should tutor each one of them for an hour or two everyday. Well, its not possible. LSUgirl made a C on hers this time and I was livid! She is fully capable of straight A's and the only reason she made a C is that she did not study enough or she didn't apply herself. I expect so much more from her because she is so much more capable. The other two struggle and we know this so we don't hold them to such high standards, but LSUgirl is different.

I got the new child in class today and she is like a walking tornado. She can walk, which we are totally NOT used to and she goes everywhere and destroys everything in her path. I will lose weight just chasing after her.

Well, speaking of Hurricane Nini, I'd better go for now. She has thrown almost every ball out of the ball pit and is now wondering around the room trying to find something to destroy.
