100 Things About Me

This is a list of 100 things about me. Some of them you may already know, some maybe not. It took me quite a while to compile this list but I am finally publishing it. So....here we go!

1. I am the youngest of 5 children.
2. All of them are girls.
3. My parents are still married after 55 years.
4. I love to have my hair played with.
5. It took 29 years to find the love of my life.
6. My favorite color is purple (eggplant color).
7. I hate eggplants.
8. I used to have a Donkey named Ruth. She died.
9. I was on the TV show Mr. Wonder as a kid before he was arrested for child molestation. Good grief!!!
10. I have had one best friend for 22 years.We met at a wrestling match.
11. I lived in the same house from the time I was born to the time I graduated high school.
12. My first car was a 1981 Chevrolet Chevette nicknamed "Ten Day Ole Terd".
13. I love wheel throwing pottery.
14. I love waterfalls.
15. I have been out of the US twice: Costa Rica and Jamaica
16. I used to be fat, now I am a fat person in a slim body.
17. I love to shop at Old Navy and Rue 21.
18. I have two beautiful children, 18 and 10.
19. I have two beautiful inherited children, 10 and 6.
20. I cry a lot over my son.
21. I have been blessed with a wonderful, loving, giving husband.
22. I have been going to college for a total of 20 years.
23. My first degree was in Psychology, though I never had a job where I used it.
24. I love butterflies.
25. I love pork chops.
26. I want to travel to Italy.
27. My idea of the perfect time with my husband is in a deserted bungalow on a beach.
27. I hate the feel of sand on my body.
28. I love my job.
29. I obtained my 1st master's degree in 56 weeks.
30. I love the smell of cream bruelle' candles.
31. My mom is 74 and my dad is 82 years old.
32. I have been very sickly all my life but still keep going. I am very tired.
33. I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer when I was 35 years old.
34. I have lost over 115 pounds.
35. I love to eat.
36. I love dachshunds. I have eight of them.
37. I have survived two accidents that should have killed me.
38. My body can tell.
39. I think I should have been a twin because I have extra body parts. (kidneys and vertebrae)
40. My mother calls me Dazy.
41. She got that nickname from my uncle that was mentally retarded- that's how he pronounced my name (Staci)
42. I am about to be 36 years old.
43. I am a Libra.
44. I believe in ghosts and angels.
45. I love to watch girls gymnastics.
46. I love to snuggle.
47. I want to live in the mountains where the air is crisp and clean.
48. I have done many things in my life that I am not proud of.
49. I have a thing for men with big arms.
50. I love all kinds of music. It makes me happy.
51. I hate snakes.
52. I am going to be a grandma, and going to have grandpuppies, (our first litter)
53. I love Double Stuffed Oreos.
54. I am never satisfied with myself or my body.
55. I would love to adopt a child with Down's Syndrome.
56. I worry about my parents all the time.
57. I don't know what I will do when they leave this world.
58. I have and probably will always suffer from depression.
59. I used to love wrestling- Mid South Wrestling
60. I went to my first bar when I was 15.
61. I don't go to bars anymore. Too old for that.
62. I am happy with my life.
63. I am a truly blessed person with many people on my side.
64. I still remember a time when I was 4 years old, I was found sitting in the middle of the road playing with my doll and my dad whipped me with a coke crate all the way home, which was a long way...
65. The last time my dad ever spanked me was when I was 16 and I didn't take the pig slop to the pigs, I threw it over the fence.
66. I was raised by a farmer.
67. My mom worked at WalMart for 13 years.
68. I have a secret fear of being alone.
69. I realized that compared to some of my high school peers, I am aging gracefully.
70. I see guys I used to date and wonder "What was I thinking?"!!
71. I am tired of school.
72. Going to the fair was much more fun as a teenager than being a parent of a preteen.
73. I wish I had become a doctor.
74. It breaks my heart to punish my daughter.
75. The older I get the more special my parents and siblings are to me.
76. I love the crisp clean feel of a cool fall day.
77. I love the New Orleans Saints even though they suck.
78. I was raped when I was 13 years old. It took 2 years to tell anyone and 9 to realize it wasn't my fault.
79. I am a big procrastinator.
80. I am scared as hell that my parents may not be around much longer.
81. It breaks my heart and I am overwhelmed with joy all in the same breath that my kids are growing up.
82. My favorite day of the week is Saturday.
83. My favorite months of the year are October and April (cool weather and beautiful scenery).
84. If I were to have another child, I would name her Isabella Reayne (pronounced like Rain) or him London Jagger.
85. I have 11 nieces and nephews and not one of them calls me "Aunt Staci".
86. My best friend's daughter calls me Aunt Staci, though she is like my own.
87. My husband takes very good care of me.
88. He brings me flowers for no reason, does housework- including laundry, waits on me when I'm sick and when I'm studying.
89. We DJ on the side, well, actually he does, I just spend the money, LOL.
90. I love daisies and orange roses.
91. I am running out of things about me.
92. I have completed 250 credit hours in college.
93. My undergraduate GPA was 2.68.
94. My graduate GPA is 4.0.
95. I give to St. Jude's Research Hospital and cry everytime I see a commercial.
96. I walk for Walk for a Cure in honor of me and my mom and all the others who have survived, who will survive, and who lost their battle with breast cancer.
97. I love pink because to me, it signifies life.
98. I still email my friend from highschool- Beth.
99. The older I get, the more I realize what is important in my life.
