1…. I'm sore today, probably because the hubby and I ran all over Northwest LA yesterday and I overdid it a bit. 2. We have a wedding rehearsal and wedding the next two days and the youngest toot is in the wedding and S, the hubby is playing the wedding, reception and after reception party. Looks like it'll be a long Saturday. 3. I finally found my SR an LSU Tigers sweatsuit for Christmas! Yahoo, I'm gonna be one cool mama!!!! She's only 10 but has her heart set on LSU being where she goes for pre-med. Lets keep hopin... 4. I just want to live in a lifestyle that is much more expensive than my paycheck allows and that just sucks sushi! 5. I am feeling quite nostalgic lately and don't quite know what has triggered it. 6. I should be writing 5 case studies, a 17 page research paper on blindness, and studying for 3 finals instead of typing this blog but I just don't want to, so I'm not. 7. I love Thursday night tv, we watch Survivor, CSI and ER. Yes, I am still a tried and true ER fan, even though there is not a sole left on it that started the show many years ago. 8. I should have duty in the morning, but since I'm off on short term disability, somebody else has to open those doors. Ha!!! 9. I really have got to get my Doggie website up and running. I got a call this morning for someone wanting my stud service. You go Sam! He's the MAN, uh, I mean Dog. 10. Today, I have been post op one week, and have not had to take a nap all day. 11. I got Bewitched and Finding Neverland in from Netflix today. Guess I could watch FN before S gets home, since its a girlie flick and there are no drugs, sub machine guns, or shootemups in it. 12. My phone just rang and scared the begesus out of me. It was SR's dad and I forgot all about the wedding she is supposed to go to Fri and Sat. Now tell me, how am I supposed to have two kids at two different weddings at the same time, different towns...oh yeah, I am the Mighty Wonder Woman and can do it all... well, I'll just have to beg and delegate. That's what I'll do. 13. And for my final Thursday Thirteen topic: field trips- someone please tell me why it is necessary for my daughter's class to go to the most expensive sit down, fine dining restaurant in Monroe when going to see "The Nutcracker"? For a $3 show, she has to have $12 so they can go to Copeland's, which is $5.75 for the meal and $ 3.25 for dessert. What ever happened to McDonald's or Pizza Hut for 3 bucks. Plus they want me to chaperone, so now I have to pay the admission price to get in and my lunch also. This twinkle toe play is gonna cost me some major bucks. I think I just may call the principal and ask that question. SR would be appauled if she knew I even thought about doing that. Maybe I'd better not if I don't want her hating me....Hmmmm let me give that one some thought. Links to other Thursday Thirteens! 1. (leave your link in comments, I’ll add you here!) |
