Anything To Get Out of STUDYING!!*&%$#

I had the best weekend with my good friend Beth. No, we didn't do anything profound or magnificent- just hung out. The girls played (do they call it playing when they are 11?)- arg..um..hung out, chilled, whathaveyou while we chatted and laughed and looked at old picture albums, looked at dox luxury items and ate.

We also went shopping and Monkey grilled for us and it was scrumptious. Unfortunately the girls didn't get a chance to ride the horses, but I got my kisses (although I truly thought he was thinking my hand was a luscious apple) from Buck and the rest of the possey. She has a beautiful place that is so peaceful and country. Too bad I don't live right up the road. Studmuffin and Monkey wouldn't know what hit them...haha.

There were some things that happened this weekend that I'll share with you. First and foremost was my dream Saturday night. I dreamed I went to my mom's church with only a shirt on, no panties, no pants and just paraded my bare arse in front of the whole congregation and wasn't even in the least bit of embarrassed. WTF???

Finally, I got to see the movie RENT~! I have had it for a week or so and really wanted to watch it, but I knew that it was probably one of those Sunday afternoon movies where nothing else is going on and the kids were not running around the house. So the kids bunkered down in their beds to watch a little tv, so me and studmuffin popped it in. I did warn him that it was a musical (and broadway play) but I really wanted to see it and because I was going along with him to the Motley Crue concert (which now he wants to sell the tickets because he has yard work to do...another story), that he could sit through a couple of hours to watch it with me.

So he did. It started out kind of slow and it was different listening to the plot in song, but after just a little while, we were both hooked. The movie kept psyching us out, because it would come to a part and you would think it was over, a blank screen would come up, then another "act" I guess would start. Needless to say, it was a great movie that made me really take a different perspective on life- I won't ruin it for you- just get it. Or do like Ginger did and go see the real thing. I am still so jealous, by the way.

I have a midterm tonight and I have not adequately prepared for it. Studmuffin fixed me a pot of coffee last night and went to bed, leaving me at 9pm with nothing but peace and quiet. After about an hour and a half, I grew sleepy and gave it up. Then I have looked at it for about an hour at work, but I still don't know it. Not that I really care- I have the worst attitude toward school right now, but this is for THE professor who thinks the world of me, so I don't want to bomb it. Think I'll go grab me some java and go study for a while.

Oh, LEAP and iLEAP is this week. Everyone send good vibes to LSUgirl and Vetgirl. They need all the help they can get.....
