No Tip for Sucky Waitress

Friday night, my friend J and I took the girls to a swimming party in Monroe. We didn't have time to eat before going, so we were all starving by the time we left. We were in between a Corky's and an Applebee's so J says, its close, lets just go to Applebees. Big mistake.

Here's the scenario. We order four kids meals, an appetizer and an entree we were going to share. This was about 8:30pm. It was busy but not too busy. We wait and wait and wait. Then we get to hear our waitress apologize over and over again to the people behind us for screwing up their order, then overcharging them two times. The third time was a charm, the patrons were not impressed and she was a nervous wreck. Since our waitress was so involved with her screw up- she never comes to check on us. Finally after an HOUR, our food comes and it was COLD. We wait an hour for cold shrimp and pasta. I don't think so. Then one of the girls asked for mustard and ketchup and pickles on her cheeseburger and gets absolutely nothing but meat and cheese. We wait and wait and finally flag down some other chick (we still haven't seen our waitress).

J, who is perfectly fine with showing her ass in public if need be asks her "Is this menu item supposed to be served cold?", she grabs it up. Hold on, you need to take this one back to and add pickles and ketchup and mustard. She acts annoyed.

So, in a while, we get the nuked pasta and condiments for the burger. By this time, we had been there about an hour and a half and really weren't that hungry anymore. So there our bowl sets, hardly touched.

The girls eat, we are ready to go, its almost 10:30 and I have some other people's children I need to get back before they put out an APB on me.
Finally we wave down a manager, he comps us the cold pasta. The waitress brings the bill and for 4...you hear me...4 kids cheeseburgers/chicken fingers, its is $30. Oh, I don't think so scooter! She had charged us $2 a drink for each child when it came with the kids meal. She goes back again. Before J got through with her and the manager, 6 of us ate for $21.95. But...it took us almost 2 hours to get through...

Needless to say, I only left a $1 bill on the table. It wasn't all the waitresses fault, but damn. That shit was ridiculous!!!

Not a good place to be with kids, be in a hurry and no alcohol involved...
