Life of a Wife and Mother

I love being a wife and mom and most days I consider it the best part of my life. Okay, I do have my days that I want to check out of mommy motel and go to singlesville but who doesn't.

I watched Wife Swap a little while ago and was amazed at this woman. She lived as a wife back in the 60s and truly believed in being totally submissive to her husband. Now I do have some old fashioned habits myself, like cooking for my family, fixing their plates and serving my husband his, but we have a very modern marriage, all things are split down the middle, sometimes I do more, sometimes he does more.

Anyhow, this chick stays at home all day and meets her husband at the door, takes his coat and shoes, brings him a drink, files his nails and gives him a manicure, etc. I'm sorry, I just think when a wife/mother works a full time job and goes to school like I do, it takes two to make the household run. Well, her living with a man for a week that does everything, including making his wife breakfast in bed must have given her a taste of the other side cause at the end of the show, her husband was serving her breakfast and was doing some cooking and helping out around the house.

I want to do this show so bad but my husband won't hear of it. I've filled out the app and all. Its ready to go. My luck, they'll put me with a man that thinks women shouldn't work or do anything but cater to their husband and that doesn't hold education as a high priority in their life.

Anyhow, I was just wondering if you could swap with another woman for a week, what yould you want to swap with and what do you thing the total opposite of you would be?
