Sunday Seventeen

Okay, I forgot Thursday, Friday and Saturday, so here goes Sunday's Seventeen.

1. I had the best time yesterday and last night.
2. My four sisters, mom and I had a pajama party.
3. We ate mexican for lunch, went to SteinMart, rented two movies, had shrimp alfredo from scratch for supper, watched two movies and sipped coffee and wine all night.
4. I was not impressed with the Mexican place.
5. Found one ornament at SteinMart- that makes three, need three more.
6. Watched Christmas with the Kranks and Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants (both of which I had seen before, but it was fun laying around in our pjs watching them together.
7. Anne and I were the only ones who didn't fall asleep during Sisterhood- wimps.
8. My sister Rhonda snored like a freight train- right smack in my ear.
9. Wine and coffee do not mix well-which probably explained my stomach ache, although it could have been the reese's peanut butter cups.
10. We got up at the butt crack of dawn- 5:00 to be exact.
11. I drove home in my pajamas. Thank goodness I didn't get stopped. They'd have locked me up for "What Not to Wear!"
12. Only 8 days until my friend Beth comes to visit. She hasn't been home in 15 years. Boy is she going to be shocked at the things that have changed around here.
13. I am ALL DONE with finals and this semester.I have 4 weeks before I have to start back to school and 3 weeks before I have to go back to work.
14. We finally got our woodburning stove in- got wood too, now we need a log holder in the house. Must go find one today.
15. All my Christmas shopping is done, I think.
16. Weaning puppies from their momma is a dirty job. I have used a half of gallon of bleach in 3 days.
17. I am getting in the cooking mood. My grocery bill will be a fortune. Currently, it is looking like my part of the Christmas lunch menu will be: Cherries in the Snow, Sausage balls, english peas with pearl onions, Country corn casserole, tea cakes, buckeyes and a ding dong cake.

Well, in a nut shell, that is what is going on in my life on this cold weekend in North Louisiana.
