Some Good Recipes
Chews/HaystacksFrom the kitchen of Dazy Mae
Ingredients
2 (12 ounce) packages Semi-sweet choc chips
1 (12ounce) package butterscotch chips
1 large can Chow Mein Noodles chow mein Noodles
Spanish peanuts, marshmallows, cashews, etc..
Directions
Melt all the chips together in a large pan over low heat, stirring constantly. Add noodles and stir to coat. Add whatever else you may desire, stirring to coat. Place on wax paper by spoonful and cool until set.
Scott's No-Bake Cookies
Ingredients
1 stick margarine
1/2 cup milk
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup cocoa
3 cups quick-cooking rolled oats
1/2 cup smooth-style peanut butter
1 teaspoon vanilla
Directions
Cover 2 cookie sheets with wax paper. Combine in a medium sauce pan the first 4 ingredients. Boil mixture on medium -high for 1 minute. Stir in the other 3 ingredients, mix well. Drop by spoonfuls onto covered cookie sheets. Refrigerate until firm.
Corn Casserole
Ingredients
1 can cream style corn
1 can whole corn (don't drain)
1 (8 ounce) container sour cream
2 eggs
1 stick butter (melted in baking pan first)
1 box Jiffy Corn Bread
Directions
Mix ingredients well, put in baking pan and bake at 350 degrees for 40 minutes.
Watergate Salad (AKA Ambrosia)
Ingredients
2 small boxes sugar free Jell-O pistachio instant pudding
2 cans crushed pineapple in it's own juice
1 small container Cool Whip
pecans to taste
Directions
Mix the pudding and pineapple in a medium size bowl. Add the Cool Whip and fold together. Add pecans to taste. Chill until ready to serve.
Sausage Balls
Ingredients
3 cups Bisquick
10 ounces extra sharp cheese
1 pound hot sausage
Directions
Mix sausage with Bisquick. Add cheese. Form dough into balls, place on a greased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for about 15 minutes. May be frozen before baking.
